Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

IMPROVING THE GAME!
Choose TWO (2) upgrades to incorporate into your game:
HERE ARE SOME IDEAS:
Add scoring and change the game to end when 10 points are scored.
After Kodu collects two Coins, Kodu gets missiles to fire back.
Program the Coins to wander around or even run from Kodu!
Add another Saucer to make the game more difficult.
Increase the size of the city.
Place hazards (like water or pits) that will damage Kodu when touched.
Add a countdown timer that ends the game — Saucer wins if no coins are collected.
Add a Power Up that briefly turns Kodu invisible to the Saucer.
Limit where Saucer may roam — provide a safe area to take a rest.
Change from 1st Person View to Bird’s-eye (looking down from above).
Increase the Saucer’s movement speed but decrease its missile speed
Add more coins and give point values
Add Landscape items (rocks, trees etc)
Change the sky or lighting
EXAMPLES....
Add objects like trees, rocks or apples
Change the sky color
HOW TO SCORE...ADD PROGRAM TO KODU!
THEN TO END THE GAME....PROGRAM A TREE OR ROCK!
Add an inanimate object (like a tree or rock...something that won't die)
Program the color team to earn a specific amount of points and Win!
