1. Log in to typing.com

2. Click Lessons

3. On Intermediate Tab, Click Intermediate: Basic Punctuation (this is due FRIDAY, February 18): 10 Pts.

4. Begin Typing (Please DO NOT GO PAST THIS LESSON! It will RESET if you do!)

If you are finished or waiting, work on Clever!

  1. Students click on the Clever icon on the desktop

  2. Sign in using the username & password (same as logging into computer)

  3. Click on the square that says iReady

  4. Continue until time is up!

Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

It is essential to all industries that use 3D modeling like architects, engineers and game designers! Lessons help you learn important skills in just a few steps - so you can master 3D design in no time.

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will complete lessons on TinkerCAD and upload files you have completed through TEAMS!

Log in to our class on TinkerCad!

Your username has been made for you!

Click PERIOD BUTTON (below) to log in to YOUR class period to TinkerCAD

Select Join with NICKNAME

Your "Nickname" is your FIRST NAME and LAST NAME and YOUR PERIOD NUMBER

  • Today we will create this from scratch!


On the top left corner, click the name to change it to Valentine

TIP! (before you begin!)

  • Change your Snap Grid to 0.25 mm

Red Box

  • Bring a Red Box to the workplane

  • Make it 75mm wide x 75 mm Long

Red Box

  • Make it 25mm High


  • Bring a Cylinder on to the workplane

  • Make it 75mm diameter

  • Make the cylinder 25 mm high

  • Move it over to the red box as shown

  • Hold down the ALT key and click and pull the cylinder to copy

  • Move it over to the other side of red box as shown


  • Draw an imaginary box around everything

  • Group 3 shapes


  • Select the Heart

  • Click on the BOTTOM double-sided, rounded arrow

  • Enter -45 in the box (Negative 45)

  • Click enter on your keyboard

Change size

  • Click the bottom white handle

  • Change the width to 125

  • Change the length to 115

  • Hold down the ALT key and click and pull the heart to copy

  • Make the second heart a HOLE

Resize the Hole Heart

  • Click the Bottom White Handle of the Hole Heart

  • Make the width 100 mm

  • Make the Length 95 mm

  • Click the Top White Handle

  • Make the Height 35 mm

Align the Hearts...

  • Draw an imaginary box around BOTH Hearts

  • Click the alignment tool on the top right corner

  • Click the dot on the bottom center and the left center to align!


  • View the hearts from the top to make sure they are centered. You might have to nudge the hole heart a little using your arrow keys!

Move the Hole heart above the workplane

  • Click on the blue workplane to deselect both hearts

  • Select the Hole Heart

  • Click and pull the black cone/triangle on the top of the hole heart

  • Enter 15 in the box

  • This will make the heart 15 mm above the workplane


  • Draw an imaginary box around everything

  • Group both Hearts

Add Text

  • Add Text to the Workplane

  • Chose a word to add to your valentine!

Change Height

  • Click the top White Handle and change the height of your text to 25 mm

  • TIP! Make sure your text fits in the heart!

  • Move to the center of the heart!

Customize the color!

  • Change the color of the hearts

  • Change the color of the text!


  • Draw an imaginary box around everything

  • Group both Hearts

  • Click Multicolor in the dialog box to retain colors!


  • The Valentine MUST be TWO (2) colors

  • There must be an word in the valentine (be creative!)


REMEMBER to add your NAME to the workplane!

  • Drag the TEXT shape onto your workplane

  • Use the Text Dialog box to enter your first name!



  • Click the HOME BUTTON to view your entire workplane

  • Click SEND TO (on the TOP RIGHT!)


  • This will download your Workplane and all created upon it to your DOWNLOADS folder!

  • Go to our Classroom in TEAMS

  • Select Assignments

  • Select

    • TinkerCAD: Valentine!

  • Scroll down to MY WORK

  • Click +ATTACH


  • Select DOWNLOADS (on the left)

  • Find the downloaded file and select it (it should be called valentine.png)

  • Click OPEN

  • Wait for file to upload!

  • File will show up below under My Work


NOTE: There MUST be a file (download of project) attached to get credit. Simply clicking TURN IN will not do!!!

This assignment is worth 10 points! Make sure you COMPLETE the LESSON and attach file to assignment TEAMS to get CREDIT!
