Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

  • Bring a Red Box on to the workplane

  • Change the dimensions to 100mm wide x 50mm long

  • Change the height to 5mm

  • Bring a Round Roof on to the workplane

  • Change the dimensions to 40mm wide x 50mm long

  • Change the height to 15mm

  • Draw an imaginary box around the Red Box and Round Roof

  • Click the alignment tool on the top right corner

  • Click the dot on the bottom LEFT and the left center to align!

  • Deselect by clicking the blue workplane area

  • SELECT (click) the Round Roof shape ONLY

  • Move the Round Roof shape 5 spaces to the LEFT by using the LEFT arrow key on your keyboard (press it 5 times!)

  • Click and pull the cone/triangle up

  • Enter 10 in the box (10 mm above the workplane)

Change the Car Color...

  • Click on the Solid color in the dialog box

  • Select a new color!

Wheels

  • Bring a Cylinder on to the workplane

  • Change (check) the diameter to 20 mm (20 in both boxes)

  • Change the height to 3 mm

Rotate the workplane view

Using your mouse, RIGHT click and pull to the left to view the car like shown (left)

Rotate the Wheel (cylinder)...

  • Click on the rounded, double arrow on the left and enter 90 in the box

  • This will rotate the "wheel" 90

Bring the wheel up on the workplane...

  • Press 'D' on your keyboard to bring the wheel UP on the workplane

Change the wheel color to black...

  • Click on the Solid color in the dialog box

  • Select BLACK!

Align...

  • Draw an imaginary box around ALL

  • Click the alignment tool on the top right corner

  • Click the dot on the bottom CENTER and the left BOTTOM to align!

  • Deselect by clicking the blue workplane area

  • SELECT (click) the Wheel (black cylinder) shape ONLY

  • Move the Wheel shape 1 mm to the DOWN by using the DOWN arrow key on your keyboard (press it 1 time!)

Duplicate the wheel...

  • SELECT (click) the Wheel (black cylinder) shape ONLY

  • Select CTRL + D on your keyboard

  • This will make an exact copy of the wheel on top of the other wheel

Move the duplicated wheel...

  • With the Wheel (black cylinder) shape selected still ...

  • Move the Wheel shape 30 mm to the LEFT by using the LEFT arrow key on your keyboard (press it 30 times!)

Move the original wheel...

  • Select the original Wheel (black cylinder) shape

  • Move the Wheel shape 30 mm to the RIGHT by using the RIGHT arrow key on your keyboard (press it 30 times!)

Group the wheels...

  • With the original wheel still selected...

  • Hold down the shift key and select the other wheel

  • Group them!

Rotate the workplane view

Using your mouse, RIGHT click and pull to the RIGHT to view the car like shown (left)

Duplicate the grouped wheels...

  • SELECT (click) the grouped Wheels (black cylinder)

  • Select CTRL + D on your keyboard

  • This will make an exact copy of the wheels on top of the other wheels

Move the wheels using the arrow keys...

  • With the duplicated wheels selected...

  • Move the Wheel shape 49 mm to the RIGHT by using the RIGHT arrow key on your keyboard (press it 49 times!)

Rotate the workplane view

Using your mouse, RIGHT click and pull to the RIGHT to view the car like shown (left)

Group...

  • Draw an imaginary box around ALL

  • Group them!

  • Click on the Solid color in the dialog box










Change to MultiColor...

  • Click on the Solid color in the dialog box

  • Click the MULTICOLOR box to retain the car color and wheel color!

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD...

  • The car MUST be DIFFERENT color than the wheels!

  • Make sure you have followed instructions!

  • ALSO FILE MUST BE NAMED Car!

REMEMBER to add your NAME to the workplane!

  • Drag the TEXT shape onto your workplane

  • Use the Text Dialog box to enter your first name!

GETTING CREDIT!

ONCE COMPLETED!

  • Click the HOME BUTTON to view your entire workplane

  • Click SEND TO (on the TOP RIGHT!)

Click the DOWNLOAD BUTTON!

  • This will download your Workplane and all created upon it to your DOWNLOADS folder!

  • Go to our Classroom in TEAMS

  • Select Assignments

  • Select

    • TinkerCAD: Car!

  • Scroll down to MY WORK

  • Click +ATTACH

  • Click UPLOAD FROM THIS DEVICE

  • Select DOWNLOADS (on the left)

  • Find the downloaded file and select it (it should be called Car.png)

  • Click OPEN

  • Wait for file to upload!

  • File will show up below under My Work

  • CLICK TURN IN!

NOTE: There MUST be a file (download of project) attached to get credit. Simply clicking TURN IN will not do!!!

This assignment is worth 50 points! Make sure you COMPLETE the LESSON and attach file to assignment TEAMS to get CREDIT!
