The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

Today you will work on the Kodu Skyscraper Panic Project!
I will show you step by step how to create the project. Please follow along.

Click the Kodu Game Lab icon on your desktop!
Use YOUR FIRST NAME and LAST INITIAL!
Example: John Smith= JohnS
Click the "Keep me signed in when Kodu exits" button!
SEPARATE YOUR SCREENS TO VIEW BOTH SCREENS AT THE SAME TIME!
TABS SHOULD NOW BE SIDE BY SIDE!
SELECT ONE TAB AND PRESS WINDOWS + LEFT ARROW
SELECT THE OTHER TAB AND PRESS WINDOWS + RIGHT ARROW
REMEMBER YOU WILL BE SAVING YOUR PROJECT! IF YOU DO NOT SAVE YOU WILL NOT GET CREDIT!!!
Click the HOME button...
Select MY WORLDS
Using you mouse wheel, Zoom into a street in your city.
Select the OBJECT TOOL and click on the street
Click on the OBJECT Group/Folder
Zoom out to other streets in your city. Select the Object Tool and click on the street.
Place another 15 coins randomly around your city!
ADDING & SIZING OBJECTS!
ADD A SAUCER....
Select the OBJECT Tool.
Click the ROBOTS Group
Add a SAUCER to the street!
SHRINKING THE SAUCER....
With the OBJECT TOOL still selected, Right click the saucer
Click on the Change Size button and then drag the bar to the left until the Saucer shrinks in size (0.7).
RAISING THE SAUCER....
With the OBJECT TOOL still selected, Right click the saucer AGAIN
Click on the Change Height button and then drag the bar to the left until the Saucer is closer to the ground (about 2.00).
Use the Move Camera (Hand) Tool to go find KODU
REMEMBER! we placed him outside the terrain when making our streets!
With the OBJECT TOOL selected, move KODU to a street
Right click KODU
Click on the Change Size button and then drag the bar to the left until Kodu shrinks in size (0.7) as well.
AT THIS POINT...
SAVE YOUR WORLD!!!
Click HOME button
